About the Author

I am Julie Cancio Harper, a freelance editor with 9 years service (and counting) to the publishing industry. I’m in the middle of things — a few years into my career, my adult life, and my quest for carving out my slice of happiness.

Thanks to working from home, I’ve become a pretty fair from-scratch cook. When I was in school, I had quite a bit to say about food and my other enthusiasms, and it’s about time I wrote it down.

My husband, Eric, and I live in the Los Angeles area, and together we are learning to eat.
